Biomagnetic Pair Therapy (BPT)

What is Biomagnetic Pair Therapy?

First developed in 1988 by Dr Isaac Goiz Durán, Biomagnetic Pair Therapy (BPT), also known as Medical Biomagnetism, is the practice of applying magnets in Biomagnetic Pairs (BMP) on specific parts of the body to target infection and body dysfunction.

The Biomagnetic Pairs are divided into 4 categories:

  1. Regular BMPs: identify pathogenic microorganisms (virus, bacteria, fungi or parasites).
  2. Special BMPs: identify tissue alteration not supported by pathogenic microorganisms.
  3. Dysfunction BMPs: rebalance glands and hormonal production.
  4. Reservoir BMPs: identify organs or tissue which support inactive pathogens and keep them in reserve indefinitely, until some alteration in the body triggers them to become active.

About Dr Goiz and the foundations of BPT

Dr Isaac Goiz Durán is the internationally award-winning founder and chief developer of Biomagnetic Pair Therapy, who has discovered over 350 Biomagnetic Pairs. He has published several books on the subject and is the instructor of the Biomagnetic Pair Certification Program at the Universitiy of Chapingo (UACH) in Mexico City and the National University of Loja (UNL) in Ecuador. Dr Goiz is also a member of the New York Academy of Sciences in the USA.

Dr Goiz first developed BPT in 1988, when he attended NASA doctor Richard Broeringmeyer’s Energy Therapy Course organized by the League of Alternative Medicine at the University of Guadalajara in Mexico.

When returning from space, the immune systems of early astronauts were incredibly weak, making them highly susceptible to illness. As NASA’s Chief Medical Officer in the 1980s, Dr Broeringmeyer found one common anomaly among them: one leg was always 1-2cm shorter than the other, when they had been of equal length prior to leaving.

Dr Broeringmeyer discovered that the cause was lack of exposure to Earth’s magnetic field when in orbit, when he found that placing magnets on the astronauts’ bodies returned their legs to equal length. It was also at this point that he discovered that the body’s pH was linked to, and could be controlled by, magnetic fields; and that magnetic polarization leads to pathological states, or disease.

Dr Goiz developed Dr Broeringmeyer’s methods of detecting pH imbalances using single pole magnets, by placing ‘balancing’ (equalising) magnets on the body to correct imbalances and treat the conditions associated with them. Dr Goiz thus developed Biomagnetic Pair Therapy, which not only finds, but also corrects pathological imbalances and illnesses.

How does it work?

Dr Goiz found that viruses and fungi have a symbiotic relationship, as do bacteria with parasites; bacteria and viruses can also resonate with each other. This ‘resonance’ between pathogens leads to a distortion of the levels of acidity and alkalinity (pH) of the organs of the human body.

In short, by working together, pathogens can change the natural optimum pH of your body to their own optimum pH; this makes pathogens stronger whilst reducing the effectiveness of your cells and weakening their defences. This in turn leads to disease and organ dysfunction.

By using the biomagnetic fields created by BMP, Biomagnetic Pair Therapy corrects pathogenic alterations to the pH of the human body by depolarising the areas of imbalance and returning them to your body’s natural pH level. This creates an environment in which pathogens cannot survive, and in which the body is quickly able to begin healing and defending itself.

What are the benefits for me?

What makes Biomagnetic Pair Therapy particularly successful for clients is that it can detect pathogens before, or in the early stages of, making symbiotic relationships with each other and altering your pH levels. This means that BPT not only treats ongoing chronic or acute infection and organ dysfunction, but also works as an effective preventative treatment before new pathologies can begin to cause symptoms.

The methods of BPT set it apart from the current practice of conventional medicine, which targets the symptomatic or degenerative signs that are caused by a single pathogen and overlook additional pathogens which are often part of an illness process. By using BPT, clients can not only be treated for current health issues, but can also use it as a regular check-up to monitor and maintain a healthy and balanced body.

What conditions can it help?

BPT, as well as being an effective preventative, is effective against a wide range of conditions including:

  • Acute infections
  • Asthma
  • Candida
  • Chronic fatigue and post-viral fatigue syndrome
  • Chronic infections
  • Digestive issues such as IBS, IBD and Crohns
  • Eczema
  • Fertility issues
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Flu and colds
  • Fungal infections
  • Hyper- and Hypo-thyroidism, and other hormonal dysfunctions and imbalances
  • OCD, Depression and other neurological conditions
  • Urinary Tract Infections

Who is it suitable for?

BPT is a flexible, non-invasive treatment which can be as strong, or as gentle, as you want it to be. For this reason, it is safe to use on both adults and children and can be combined with other conventional or alternative therapies with no contraindications.

If you are pregnant, currently receiving or have received chemotherapy or radiotherapy, or have a medical implant (such as a pacemaker or cochlea implant), certain precautions are taken, or other therapies not using magnets are used in place of BPT.

Our Therapist is also able to treat clients long-distance where appropriate.
